Our Story

Periodic Threads was born from a simple idea: science deserves to be worn, not just studied.

I'm Vinicius, a chemist and science educator from Brazil. I hold two Chemistry degrees from the University of São Paulo (USP), one of Latin America's top research universities. During my time at USP, I led a hands-on science education project that reached over 25,000 students and was recognized by the United Nations Environment Programme and featured on the cover of Chemical & Engineering News (C&EN).

After nearly two decades working in the lab supply industry, I realized something: scientists, teachers, and students share a deep pride in what they do — but there weren't many ways to wear that pride with style.

That's why I created Periodic Threads with my son Gabriel. Every design in our collection is rooted in real chemistry — accurate molecular structures, correct atomic numbers, and puns that only people who've survived Organic Chemistry will truly appreciate.

We're not a fast-fashion brand. We're two science nerds making things we'd actually want to wear.
